What does documentary video production cost?
Every film is priced on scope: filming days, locations and length. Tell us your budget in the first call and we will tell you honestly what fits inside it. After that you get a fixed quote, so there are no surprises.
How long does a documentary production take?
A full-length documentary usually takes three to six months from first call to finished film. Shorter films are faster. Filming itself is only a few days; most of the time goes into research, story and the edit.
How much of our time will it take?
Less than you expect. We need a kickoff conversation, help scheduling interviews, and feedback on two cuts. We handle everything else, including research, filming and post-production.
Where do you film?
Anywhere. We are based in Berlin and have filmed across Europe, the US and Australia. Travel is planned and priced into the quote up front.
Who owns the film?
You do. You receive the finished film in every format you need, plus cutdowns for social media, with full usage rights.
